We are strategically located at the nexus of the San Francisco Bay Area and the innovation epicenter of Silicon Valley.

We support startups in all stages of their growth journey – from idea to early stage and international expansion, taking them from their local research lab and markets in Singapore and Asia to the U.S., granting them access to the expansive U.S. market, connecting them to capital funding and partnering with corporations for product and business development, manufacturing and distribution.

  • As Vice President (Ecosystem Building), Associate Professor Benjamin Tee oversees the growth and development of the NUS Innovation and Enterprise ecosystem across Asia and the U.S.

    Benjamin is also Vice-Dean (Research) at the College of Design and Engineering in NUS.

    Benjamin’s research focuses on ground-breaking flexible and stretchable electronic sensors for robotics and healthcare by pushing the boundaries of materials science, mechanics, electronics and AI. His accolades include being named the MIT TR35 Global Innovator in 2015, the Singapore Young Scientist Award in 2016, a 2019 World Economic Forum’s Young Scientist, a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher (2021) and one of the World’s Top 2% Scientists (2022, 2023) by Stanford University.

    Benjamin is a serial and successful entrepreneur who has co-founded three start-ups: Privi Medical, Hannah Life Technologies and Tacniq.AI.

  • Angeline leads BLOCK71’s U.S. operations, with a focus on building innovation bridges between Silicon Valley and Asia’s dynamic startup ecosystems. She drives strategic partnerships, spearheads market discovery initiatives, and champions entrepreneurship in cutting-edge sectors such as robotics, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.

    With a background in marketing, community development, and growth strategy, Angeline empowers a global network of founders, investors, and corporate partners to thrive in seed and early-stage ventures. She is passionate about fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas, capital, and innovation across markets.

    Angeline is deeply excited about the future of technology, particularly at the intersection of AI, healthtech, biotech, cleantech, robotics, and quantum computing, and is committed to helping visionary founders scale breakthrough solutions on a global stage.

  • Vincent Song is the Partnerships Development Manager at BLOCK71 U.S., where he cultivates strategic relationships between the U.S. and Asia. His work facilitates cross-border innovation and business growth, helping startups and investors tap into new markets.

    With over eight years of experience in international business development, Vincent has led key initiatives such as the Africa-Singapore Business Forum. He has a proven track record of fostering collaboration between government agencies, SMBs, and multinational corporations.

    Vincent is passionate about emerging technologies and their potential to transform industries, particularly in AI, health tech, urban development, and cleantech. His experience across regions like the Middle East, Africa, and Asia gives him a unique perspective on how these technologies can create sustainable, impactful growth globally.
